Some committees conduct studies and research on various real estate appraisal issues. JAREA produces guides and research reports for professional practices according to the real estate appraisal standards. |

JAREA is responsible for the professional training program (Basic Technical Program and Continuing Professional Development). The government requires JAREA to offer its members opportunities to secure a minimum of 15 hours of training per year. |

JAREA organized the 26th Pan Pacific Congress of Real Estate Appraisers, valuers and counselors in Kyoto, 2016.

5. Japan, China, and Korea Meeting in NAGOYA (2013) and YOKOHAMA (2019) |

|
The Trilateral Appraisal Cooperation Meeting is held once every two years on a rotating basis to deepen mutual understanding and exchange on the status and prospects of the appraisal industry in Japan, China, and Korea. JAREA organized the 1st meeting in Nagoya, 2013 and the 4th meeting in Yokohama, 2019.
